Walking Together for Truth and Reconciliation
On Monday, September 29th, our school community came together to honour the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
Students and staff gathered at the school and took part in a commemorative walk to the Residential School Survivors Monument at 10:30 a.m.
Along the way, conversations softened and footsteps fell in rhythm, a shared reminder of why we walk: to honour the children, families, and communities forever impacted by residential schools, and to continue learning, healing, and walking forward together.
It was a beautiful act of remembrance, reflection, and reconciliation, and we were grateful to see community members join us in walking together to honour this important day.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who joined us in this meaningful act of remembrance and reconciliation.
